Château de Villette is a magically romantic, private family home in the heart of Burgundy’s Morvan National Park offering a unique bed and breakfast experience. Coen and Catherine Stork are popular hosts and have been welcoming guests for over 20 years. The château is not a hotel. Guests share space with the family and their many dogs, cats and peacocks.
The area is famed for its history (dating back to Julius Caesar), gastronomy and fine wine. Coen is a well-respected wine expert and Catherine is a highly accomplished cook treating guests to many French classics as well as many of her own using local and seasonal ingredients. Five beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms, with exceptionally comfortable beds, and generous bathrooms have spectacular views of the terraces, gloriously unspoilt parkland and open countryside.
Activities, including cycling, walking and sightseeing, can be arranged and guests can enjoy the landscaped gardens, tennis court and swimming pool.
Larger groups, or families with children under the age of 16, may also choose to staythe the self-catering holiday cottage in the grounds. La Grenouillère is a 3 bedroom cottage and sleeps 6+ baby. The château and cottages can be taken together for one party sleeping up to 22 people, subject to availability.

The rooms of the B&B are located in the Chateau. For families with children under the age of 16, we recommend the cottages as we have no facilities for small children in the chateau.

When making a reservation a downpayment of 30% is required on order to secure the booking. This can be settled by Credit Card or bank transfer.

In case of a cancellation the downpayment is non-refundable; For a cancellation less then 48 hours prior to arrival, the total amount of the reservation is due.

Because of the wild-life around us we can not accept pets.

Chateau de Villette has a non- smoking policy inside the buildings.

On the day of arrival, your room will be available from 4 pm. If you want to come earlier, book an Early Check In for €25 per hour (subject to availability). You can leave your luggage with us earlier free of charge. If you arrive later than 20:00, please let us know in good time.

There is no need to rush on the day of departure, you can use your room until 10.30 am. If you want to stay longer, book a Late Check Out for €25 per hour (subject to availability).

Breakfast is included in the room price.

Dinner can be arranged at the chateau. We require a minimum of 24 hour notification.

A Cheese Board or Charcuterie Board with green salad is available daily.

Tourist taxes are €0,70 per adult our night.

The cottage is located on the domain of Chateau de Villette. While staying in the cottage you will have access to the pool and the tennis. The cottage is ideal for family with children.

A 50% downpayment is required to secure a booking. The remaining 50% will be due 9 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of €500 will be asked at arrival and refund at the latest 2 weeks after departure.

In case of a cancellation the downpayment is non-refundable. With a cancellation 9 weeks or less prior arrival the total rental is due.

The cottage is completely furnished. Bedlinen and towels can be provided (Comfort Pack €30/person). Baby cot is available as well as a high chair.

Meals are not included in the rental. During summer time there is the possibility to have breakfast and or dinner at the chateau. Reservation is required at least 24 hours before. Price for breakfast is €24/person. Price for dinner €65/person. Min age 16.
