Château de Villette is a magically romantic, private family home in the heart of Burgundy’s Morvan National Park offering a unique experience around gastronomy. Coen and Catherine Stork are popular hosts and have been welcoming guests for over 20 years.
The château is not a hotel. Guests share space with the family and their many dogs, cats and peacocks.
The area is famed for its gastronomy and fine wine. Coen is a well-respected wine expert and Catherine is a highly accomplished cook treating guests to many French classics as well as many of her own using local and seasonal ingredients. They love to share their expertise and if you like they will take you on a magical gastronomic journey through one of the most famous culinair region of the world. You will visit typical food market looking for the best ingredients for the meals. During a wine tasting at some of the most famous Burgundian winemakers, you will learn how to pair wine and food. The meals will be prepared by Catherine who is happy to share some cooking skills with you.
​All the meals will be served on the courtyard in front of the chateau or in the formal dining room.

If you more feel like relaxing, just do so and read a book at the swimming pool or on one of the terraces and enjoy the meals prepared by Catherine.

All the rooms are beautifully decorated en-suites, with exceptionally comfortable beds, and generous bathroom and spectacular views of the terraces, gloriously unspoilt parkland and open countryside.
